2 men where rescued in the early hors of this morning. but they carried on looking all night,
fire service's, RNLI, police, ambulance and helicopters were searching all night.
they have just stopped and as a body has been pulled out.
just to inform you of this.
and what determination of the services.
the body is of a 24 year old man.
the other 2 men have been reliesed from torbay hospital.

Good value in these credit crunch times, I’m sure you’ll agree! Three local tenors, Jason Bomford, Tony Gregg and Roger Hawkins, are getting together with pianist Marisa *****field to present an interesting and varied programme of songs: songs from opera, songs from the shows and songs from England. Local composer Will Carnell is represented with two songs from his song-cycle “Country Lovers”. Roger Hawkins performed another song-cycle by Will Carnell last December, in the presence of the composer, and he is delighted to be able to showcase this sensitive composer once more. Not so local composers include Verdi, Lloyd Webber, Bernstein and other well-known names.
All the performers have close connections with St Mary’s church: they are either former or current members of the church choir, and enjoy singing in this beautiful building with its attractive acoustic. The programme demonstrates their versatility in singing different styles of music.
Do come along on Saturday 20 June at 10.30 am for coffee and cakes, and settle down at 11.00 am for an hour of pure enjoyment, in aid of funds for the Friends of St Mary’s, Totnes. Tickets are £5.00 on the door. See you there!

Madrigals and Part Songs, will be the first half, featuring 15th and 16th century works, the second half will be 5 movements of a new oratorio written by ECC conductor Andrew Daldorph, Chris Gradwell will provide instrumental interludes on clarinet and saxophone.
